AAES Library Borrowing Policy
Students in grades Pre-K & K may borrow 1 book.
Students in grades 2 - 5 may borrow up to 2 books and 1 magazine.
Items are loaned for a period of 2 weeks. If you’d like to borrow for longer, please renewed the book(s) at our circulation desk.
All materials must be returned on or before the due date. Students with overdue or lost items will not be able to borrow more books until their obligation is cleared.
Students who return books with damage will be assessed a fine.

Libby is a hosting app by OverDrive which allows libraries to bring their collections directly to readers. Through the app, patrons can read across devices, listen to audiobooks, access books online, and more.
The Sora App is a user-friendly app that lets you access libraries through your laptop, phone or tablet. It empowers students to discover and enjoy ebooks and audiobooks from their school, for both leisure and class-assigned reading. Students may borrow e-books and audiobooks from the Hawaii DOE statewide library database.
TumbleBook Library is a curated database of children's e-books available by subscription. TumbleBooks are created by adding animation, sound, music and narration to existing picture books in order to produce an electronic picture book which you can read, or have read to you. It is a diverse database of children's e-books that can be read instantly. Collection contains read-along options, comprehension quizzes, puzzles & games, and the ability to add stories to favorites.
