Gratitude Project: Why I Am Thankful for My School

This fall, the Justice Table’s Supporting Public Education Team partnered with ISD181 to launch the Gratitude Project. Students from kindergarten through eighth grade were invited to share why they are thankful for their school through poetry, prose, or art. From heartfelt poems about supportive teachers to colorful drawings of playground memories, each submission tells a unique story of gratitude.The gratitude of children in ISD181 has blossomed into an inspiring expression that celebrates thankfulness, connection, and community.
