6TH GRADE MATH TEAM SCORE BIG

On behalf of JTM, congratulations to the 6th grade math team of students that submitted answers to the Montgomery Bell virtual math contest this past week. The team took 3rd place as a group this year! The leading schools in this contest are typically private schools such as Harding Academy and Harpeth Hall, as well as central Williamson County schools. We are especially proud of these youngsters for doing so well. It is not an easy test, with 25 challenging questions in 45 minutes. The below students participated in practices and thank you so much for your energy. For more information, contact Mr. Meyers.

You can read more about how it came about here: Project LIT. This year’s club will be sponsored by Vanderbilt University student Anna Yarinsky who is studying literacy and community in schools.
