The JCCS danceline attended the American All-Star statewide dance competition in the Lafayette Cajundome on January 14-15, 2023. The danceline did not hold back. They received 2nd place in Pom, 3rd place in Jazz, and 3rd place in Hip Hip. The Danceline was awarded State Runner-Up in their pom routine against all divisions--beating the Mount Carmel Academy Carmelettes, Chapelle High Steppers, and Jesuit Jayettes--as well as placing 5th overall for the entire competition! Talk about impressive! After endless hours of practice and hard work, the team was able to make their mark as a force to be reckoned with at the state dance competition.Congratulations to the Danceline for their huge accomplishments!
