For our 2023 musical, the Drama Club put on the wonderful show, Footloose. The show was directed by Mrs. Bennett, who was assisted by the musical director, Mrs. Elliot, and the producer, Mrs. Rickner. The story took place in the town of Bomont Texas, where troubled teen, Ren, navigated life, love, and dance.

a note from the director...
"It has been 40 years since the movie ''footloose'' was originally released. The themes are as true today as they were then. Ren, Rev. Moore, and Ariel all deal with their pain in different ways. as they recognize each other's pain, the town moves from ''a time to mourn'' to ''a time to dance.'' (Ecclesiastes 3:1-8) From set painting, to choreography, to backstage and tech, our JCCS students have worked to put on a show that we can all be proud of.''
