Arkansas Academic Challenge Scholarship The Arkansas Academic Challenge (Lottery) Scholarship is open to high school seniors and non-traditional students who are Arkansas residents. Students must earn a composite score or superscore of 19 on the ACT. Application deadline is July 1. To apply go to the SAMS website.
Arkansas Future Grant (ArFuture) The Arkansas Future (ArFuture) grant applies to students enrolled in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Math (STEM) or regional high-demand areas of study. The grant will cover tuition and fees for qualifying certificate and Associate degree programs in Arkansas’ public institutions. Visit https://sams.adhe.edu/Career to view eligible programs.
Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship The Governor’s Distinguished Scholarship is open to high school seniors with a minimum composite or superscore of 32 on the ACT or a 1410 on the SAT, and a 3.5 unweighted, cumulative grade point average. FAFSA is required. Application deadline is March 1. To apply go to the SAMS website.
A-State Promise Plus
For households under an income of $70,000, the A-State Promise Plus covers any remaining tuition costs after Pell Grants, scholarships, and financial aid up to 15 hours per semester. For more info, click the link below.
