Education Background: BA Mathematics from UC Berkeley, with a minor in CalTeach (STEM education)

Years Taught: 8 years at Westmoor High School and third year as Department Chair.  I've been trained through Modern Classroom, Grading for Equity, and Universal Design for Learning--so I use blended learning to teach a self-paced classroom using equitable, mastery-based grading practices.  Please feel free to check out my class websites below!

Fun Fact(s):  In 2015, I performed in the Superbowl 50 Halftime Show with Bruno Mars, Beyonce, Cold Play, and Gustavo Dudamel!  I love playing bass clarinet and baritone saxophone with the Skyline College Concert band and my current favorite hobby is painting with oils and acrylics.
