Meet Dr. Boyer, our Archaeology expert at Jefferson K-12. Dr. Boyer hosts regular field trips to a dig site in Monticello, Florida, where he explores history and uncovers artifacts with his students.

The Aucilla Research Institute is where all artifacts go to be processed and further studied.
The Aucilla Research Institute provides opportunities for researchers and students conducting fieldwork at paleontological, archaeological, geographical and ecological sites throughout the Big Bend region.
The Institute sponsors researcher lectures and professional conferences where findings from research are presented and discussed by both specialists and the public.
