Kindergarten Camp Information

Date: Monday, July 29  Session 1: 9:00-9:50 am, Session 2: 10:30-11:20 am, Session 3: 12:30-1:20 pm

Families will participate in one of three 50-minute sessions with a brief meet and greet with our PTA at the school playground to follow. Students will work with teachers and other school staff while parents/guardians meet with school leadership.

Our incoming kindergarten students will have the opportunity to interact with our staff and become familiar with the school building as we approach the first day of school. This will help ease anxiety that students, and even parents, can have at the start of kindergarten.

Parents/guardians can sign up for one of our three sessions using the link below.

Transportation Verification

To ensure that students are dismissed appropriately on the first day of school, we ask all our families to complete transportation verification. This will provide us with your child's afternoon transportation method. Please use the form linked here to verify transportation.

School Fees and My School Bucks

School Fee - Important new information. A $25 student registration fee will be used to support the instructional needs of all students. My School Bucks would be the preferred method of payment for the fee.

My School Bucks - To pay school fees electronically as efficiently as possible, families will need an account with My School Bucks. You can access this account through both a website and an app. Many families may have a My School Bucks account because it has been an option in JCPS for depositing student lunch money for quite a few years. If you do not have an account, you can access their website using this link. Once there, you can create an account and add your student(s). A how-to video on adding students can be viewed here. Once the student registration fee is added to each student's account, an invoice will be generated to pay the fee.

JCPS Parent Place

Every year, parents are required to fill out several forms for each attending student. In the past, these forms were given to parents during back-to-school events or as paper packets in first-day folders. Fortunately, JCPS has now moved to a digital format. All REQUIRED school forms can be found on the Parent Place website (not to be confused with Parent Portal), in the Complete Forms option.

Please allow 15 minutes to complete per child.

Below you will find a reference guide and how-to video on using Parent Place.
