Welcome to NCES!
Norton Commons Elementary opened in August 2016. The school was built attached to the YMCA and was the first partnership of its kind. NCES and the YMCA share a beautiful gymnasium, but they also work together to support the missions of both organizations, co-hosting community events, extra-curricular activities and field trips!
The faculty and staff of Norton Commons Elementary School ensure that we meet the needs of the whole child every day by providing a variety of learning experiences. Our teachers are continuously learning in order to improve their practice and improve student outcomes. We value the whole child, ensuring students are successful academically, emotionally, physically and socially. We offer basketball, cross country, soccer clinics, cheerleading, Robotics, chess, band, orchestra, chorus, and numerous other clubs.
