Jefferson County Public Schools (JCPS) is committed to identifying and supporting students with exceptional potential. We provide services for students across all five state-recognized areas of Gifted and Talented (GT) education, as well as selection through the Primary Talent Pool (PTP) for students in Kindergarten through 3rd grade.
JCPS follows the guidelines set forth in 704 KAR 3:285, the Kentucky state regulation governing gifted education. Our district policies and procedures align with this regulation to ensure equitable and consistent identification and service for all eligible students.
