Social Emotional Learning

Mission Statement

As a collaborative Mount Carbon community, we inspire all children to embrace learning. Together we create a strong academic,

social and emotional foundation, ensuring every child will be prepared for his or her future.

Welcome! Ms. Shulman has been working at Mt. Carbon as the school psychologist since 2012. She is very grateful to be in the building full-time!

Before she became a school psychologist, she was an ABA therapist for students with an Autism Spectrum Disorder and has specific training in child development. Ms. Shulman is from Maryland. She went to school at University of North Carolina Chapel Hill and University of Denver. Ms. Shulman has lived in Denver since 2009.

Parents and students are encouraged to use these resources at home and as part of their toolbox at school. Ms. Shulman is available to all students and parents at Mt. Carbon!
