What does it mean to be mindful?

  • I pay attention to things around me. I notice what’s going on in my mind and body.

  • Paying attention, on purpose, to the present moment

  • Noticing what’s happening right now in both your body and your mind with kindness and curiosity.

  • Mindfulness is noticing what is happening right now inside of us and around us like sounds, sensations, feelings, smells, ideas.
