Night of the Notables

Students read a biography of a notable person of their choice. After learning about and researching their person, they created a poster display of important biographical facts, accomplishments, quotes and other elements. They "became" their notable person as they dressed as him or her and answered questions posed by guests in the role of their notable person.  There was a variety of notable people represented; scientists, leaders, athletes, entertainers, artists, inventors, and more.
