Many students planning on attending a 4-year university will be required to take the SAT and/or ACT as part of their college admissions process. However, more colleges are going "test optional" so it is up to the student to decide if they want to send their SAT and/or ACT scores to their college.  All DRHS Juniors will take the state-mandated SAT in April and that score may be used for college admissions, if required.  Students will also receive more information about these tests in Spring 2024. 

State-mandated SAT/PSAT dates for 2023-2024:

Wednesday, April 17, 2024: PSAT for all Freshmen

Thursday, April 18, 2024: PSAT for all Sophomores

Thursday, April 18, 2024:  SAT for all Juniors
