Purpose and Course Content: Child Development is a class intended and is unit structured for students to gain knowledge of how to properly care for a child as a sibling, while babysitting, and for those students who want a future career involving children. Students will participate in activities involving Real Care Baby and Pregnancy Simulators. The purpose of this course is to inform students about the different stages of development, milestones, and care techniques of caring for a child.
Supply List
To keep class fees down, each student needs to bring 3 supplies from the supply list to class by February 12, 2021. Each student will receive 10 extra credit points for each item over the 3 required items (up to 4 items = 40 extra credit points.) (Remote students will receive extra credit for up to 4 items.)
Costco, Kings Soopers, Target, & Dollar Tree are a good place to get many of the items; we are trying to keep costs to a minimum. Please let us know if there is a financial difficulty/hardship.
Please place your items in a plastic/ paper bag and label the bag with your name, period #, and # of items your are bringing to class.
These items are used in all of our classes: We appreciate your help!
