Hello! My name is Ms. Emaleigh Fleeman, and I am excited to be a part of the JCHS Counseling Department! I am a Georgia native, and proud first-generation college graduate.
At JCHS, I work with students' last names A-C, advise IB Program students and share my love for the college admission process with all that will listen! It is a privilege to work with families and students, and provide a space of support and encouragement.

I was initially drawn to the school counseling profession when I saw how the profession works in schools for youth suicide prevention and awareness, and I have continued to stay because I realized how much I love getting to know and making connections with all students.
At home, I'm the wife of my wonderful, courageous better half and cat mom to two little fluffy beans (I am always eager to show them off). I love reading, embroidery and listening to music in my free time. I've been caring for myself lately by setting and maintaining boundaries. Come by the office for a chat!!

I have been a School Counselor for 11 years, and I truly love what I do. I am here to support, encourage, and advocate for all students. I currently serve students with last names I-M, and I am also the contact for NCAA & NAIA Eligibility and Dual Enrollment through UNG. I also coach the first ever Jaxco Game Day Competition Cheer Team!
I am married and have one son, and three step-children. We also have two silly dogs, Sonnie & BoBo. I love spending time outdoors, traveling, and most importantly Georgia Football! GO DAWGS! Laughter is the best medicine, and making people laugh is my favorite thing! Make someone smile today!

My family and I are so excited to be a part Panther Nation! I come to JCHS with 15 years experience as a teacher, school counselor and district MTSS coordinator.
My favorite part about school counseling is being a connector for students and their families to their "school family!" I believe we can learn a lot about ourselves and one another through the growing-up process. Every phase is unique and a part of our story. I consider it an honor to be a small part in kids' stories as they navigate their high school years.

I am excited to be joining Panther Nation and serving students S-Z. My goal is to create a welcoming space where students feel empowered to be their authentic selves. When I am not at school, you'll probably find me reading, scrapbooking or hunting down a good deal at a thrift store! Thanks for welcoming this school year to JCHS!
