Letters of Recommendation

• Many college applications will require a character reference/letter of recommendation.

•  If you are completing an application via Common App, send your request via Common App to your counselor https://www.commonapp.org/

• If you are applying to a college via GA Futures or the college's website, you will likely need to reach out to your counselor directly for a letter of recommendation. 

• If you are applying for a scholarship that requires a letter of recommendation, please reach out directly to your recommender. 

Please provide a minimum of two weeks notice when you need a letter of recommendation. Please include a resume or "brag sheet" along with your request.
