As Veterans Day approaches, we would like to pay special tribute to those Veterans that are friends and family members of our students and teachers here at East Jackson Elementary. Please send a photo to Mrs. Wheeler, awheeler@jcss.us, with the following information: name, relation to student or staff and the branch of military. If you have done this in the past, please send again so we do not leave anyone out. Photos are due by Tuesday, November 7. Thank you for helping us honor those in our EJES community!

The Jackson County School System will be hosting a Thanksgiving Day Food Drive. JCSS will be accepting donations for the items noted in the graphic on Friday, Nov. 10 from 8 a.m. until 4 p.m. at the Empower College and Career Center Gymnasium. These donations will go directly to a JCSS family in need this holiday season. #SuccessatJCSS
