National Read a Book Day!
EJES welcomes author, Emily Gaddy, on Wednesday, September 6. Emily is the author of “Go Bulldogs!” and “Roll Tide Roll!”. “Go Bulldogs!” and “Roll Tide Roll!” are collegiate children’s books about the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama. Over the past 7 years, she has visited over 70 schools and spoken to over 20,000 students. Along with reading the books, she has encouraged students to write, emphasized the difference between author and illustrator, and described the publishing process. You should have gotten a form to purchase an autographed book by Ms. Gaddy. We have also linked the order form below if you need to print another copy.

Reminders
Parents have access to Canvas Parent Observer accounts. These accounts will allow you to see an overview of what your child is learning and have access to a "Parent Resource" hub. This hub will have information specific to your child's teacher. You will find information about the teacher, contact information, a daily schedule, grade level standards, etc.
If you have an Infinite Campus parent portal account, you already have an account created! Please see the attached picture for your username and password.

Yearbooks on Sale!

EJMS FFA Plant Sale
The Jackson County FFA programs have teamed up to bring you some beautiful Mums for the fall season! The mums will be in 10” containers and will be $15! We have four different colors available. Proceeds go to the respective FFA Chapter you choose in the form! Please order by SEPTEMBER 4th @ 3:00 pm. Delivery will be between 9/19-9/23! Pickup will be at the Empower Greenhouse (1952 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549).
