Upcoming Events
We are excited to welcome all dads and father figures to meet together in the media center at 6:50a.m. on 8/23 for the 1st All Pro Dad's Meeting. Use the QR code to register for the event.
JCSS students will not have school on Friday, September 1 or Monday, September 4. September 1 will be a teacher workday and all schools and offices will be closed on September 4. Classes resume Tuesday, September 5.
Use the QR code to RSVP. This will allow us to be prepared for our special visitors.
*Paper copies will be sent home to use as an RSVP if you would rather send that in than use the QR code.
Our growing Ag Program needs the guidance of EJES families and community partners. Please attend this meeting to set a vision for the program and to pool our resources to give a world class learning environment for our EJES kids!
National Read a Book Day!
EJES welcomes author, Emily Gaddy, on Wednesday, September 6. Emily is the author of “Go Bulldogs!” and “Roll Tide Roll!”. “Go Bulldogs!” and “Roll Tide Roll!” are collegiate children’s books about the University of Georgia and the University of Alabama. Over the past 7 years, she has visited over 70 schools and spoken to over 20,000 students. Along with reading the books, she has encouraged students to write, emphasized the difference between author and illustrator, and described the publishing process. You should have gotten a form to purchase an autographed book by Ms. Gaddy. We have also linked the order form below if you need to print another copy.

Purchase your EJES yearbook today for $30. In January, the price will increase to $32. Purchase early to guarantee your child has a copy.

EJMS FFA Plant Sale
The Jackson County FFA programs have teamed up to bring you some beautiful Mums for the fall season! The mums will be in 10” containers and will be $15! We have four different colors available. Proceeds go to the respective FFA Chapter you choose in the form! Please order by SEPTEMBER 4th @ 3:00 pm. Delivery will be between 9/19-9/23! Pickup will be at the Empower Greenhouse (1952 Winder Hwy, Jefferson, GA 30549).
