Staff tuition-based Criteria
Jarrell ISD is proud to share the JISD Prekindergarten Staff Tuition-Based Program opportunity available to our Cougar staff. If you have a child who is 4 years of age by September 1st of the school year you are seeking to enroll, you may choose to enroll your child in this program. Simply follow the steps outlined below to complete the registration process.
Step 1: Complete Staff Tuition-Based PreK Program Agreement Google Form (only available for current Jarrell ISD employees)
Step 2:
Receive approval of participation in Staff Tuition-Based PreK
Complete the transfer request on the district website, if needed.
Step 3: Complete the district registration process on campus with campus registrar. See required documentation needed below.
***Changes for the 2022-2023 school year. Staff have the option to participate in tuition-based preK or PawPrints. If staff select tuition-based Pre-K, this does not include after-school care or coverage for professional development days. For after-school care or coverage for professional development days, please contact Paw Prints Director, Tammy Fitzner, for more information.
Required documentation
A district must verify a student’s eligibility for pre-k in order to receive funding for the pre-k program. Districts must have the verification document as well as any required documentation on file for their records. These documents should be submitted to the campus registrar.
Required Documents:
State-Issued Birth Certificate
Social Security Card
Current Shot Record
Parent Photo ID
Proof of Residency (current lease or mortgage or current utility bill)
Proof of Eligibility - see requirements above for either state qualification or approval for staff tuition-based.
