When experiencing any problems, the best thing to try is to log off and shut down. Restarting sometimes will help reset everything and may solve your problems.

Here is a Google Dashboard that IT uses to monitor performance issues with different Google products. The website shows the Google products along the left-hand side, and whether there are any service issues. Use it to monitor Google performance issues too.
