There are many digital tools to use to encourage collaboration in your classroom. In a sea full of options, here are a few of my favorites!
An interactive Google Slides presentation, Pear Deck is a great way to keep your students engaged during a slide presentation. Watch this video for a quick overview.
A digital "sticky board" of sorts, padlet encourages collaboration by letting students share text, videos, and photos on a wall. They can see what other students are saying and interact as well.

A video and voice collaboration tool, FlipGrid allows teachers to create "grids" of discussion topics. Students share their thoughts through recorded videos. This is a great tool to encourage student voice and engage them. Collaborate globally with #gridpals and get support from the flip grid community with #FlipgridFever.
Spark students to learn, collaborate, and engage in active new ways with the Jamboard mobile app. Students can interact with each other, even from across the country in live time on this digital whiteboard. Writing turned into text, and highlight to show what part of the board you need to showcase. A great tool in distance collaboration! And even better, it's part of the G Suite so it auto saves! No special equipment required. Use this inside Zoom break out rooms to maximize student voice and collaboration!

Before Gimkit: Remote learning just isn't working. Students are unengaged. Dealing with assignments is a hassle. Transitioning lesson plans to work remotely is taking forever.
After Gimkit: Remote learning seems a lot more doable. Students are engaged and are asking to keep learning. Assignments are taken care of and graded for you. Remote lesson plans with your content can be created in minutes.
