If you are having trouble loading web pages, it may be time to clear your browser's cache file. From our experience at school, this remedy will solve most issues our student's face when using their Chromebook. When you browse through the internet and visit different sites, your browser saves several contents and data in temporary storage. This temporary storage is called "cache" and can cause problems from time to time. For help on clearing your browser cache, click here.
From time to time your device may be connected to WiFi but not able to connect to the internet. This is often confusing and frustrating to users but there are a few troubleshooting steps you can preform on your own before contacting your ISP. In most cases, the issue starts with your router. Turning off your device, unplugging your router, waiting 30 seconds, and plugging back in can sometimes help with this annoying issue. For more troubleshooting steps, click here.

To make sure you're protected by the latest security updates, Google Chrome can automatically update when a new version of the browser is available on your device. With these updates, you might sometimes notice that your browser looks different. Normally updates happen in the background when you close and reopen your computer's browser.
