Mission
The mission of the Elms Student Green Team is to inspire and foster sustainability through active environmental stewardship, both within our school and in the broader community. We aim to educate, engage, and empower students and staff to adopt eco-friendly practices that positively impact our environment today and for future generations.
Empowering Students in Sustainability
Members of the Elms Student Green Team play a vital role in advocating for and teaching sustainability initiatives throughout our school. They help maintain our aquaponics system and sensory garden, conduct energy and recycling audits, and promote our recycling and food share programs. Additionally, they engage with local community organizations and businesses, learning directly from industry experts about environmental practices. Through hands-on experience, our students become leaders in creating a more sustainable and eco-conscious school community.
