I am a mathematician specializing in General and Set-Theoretic Topology. I earned my PhD in Mathematical Sciences from UNAM in 2013 and have been a professor at UAM Iztapalapa since 2016, where I received tenure in 2019. I am a member of Mexico’s National System of Researchers (SNI, Level 2).
I have more than 30 international research publications, being cited over 130 times. I have supervised and examined numerous theses at the bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral levels, and I am actively involved in supervising graduate students.
In addition to research, I have taught a wide range of mathematics courses for students majoring in mathematics, physics, engineering, biology, economics, and related fields. I also give talks at international conferences and outreach events, and I have participated in the organization of several academic meetings in topology.
