About the Speaker
Katie Stebbins is the Executive Director of the Food & Nutrition Innovation Institute at Tufts University’s Friedman School of Nutrition Science and Policy, where she builds a world-class innovation ecosystem at the intersection of nutrition science, planetary resiliency, and technology.
Previously, she served as the inaugural Under Secretary for Technology, Innovation, and Entrepreneurship in Massachusetts, spearheading state investment and strategic initiatives in cybersecurity, health tech, robotics, and advanced manufacturing.
Katie is an entrepreneurial force—having launched three ventures—and has been recognized as an Innovator in Residence at MIT Sloan School. She holds a Master’s degree in Regional Planning from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and earned her Bachelor’s degree from the University of Colorado Boulder.
