Native Tree Arboretum

The arboretum at the Outdoor Learning Lab was planted in spring of 2023 in honor of the Ivy Tech State Board of Trustees meeting hosted by the Bloomington campus in April of 2023.  One tree was planted for each trustee member, as well as for each Ivy Tech chancellor!

The following native trees make their home in the arboretum.

During the FA 23 - SP 24 academic year, watch the linked pages to become populated with student developed pages with more information and tree related activities!

Identification signs will be added to the garden in the late summer/ early fall 2023, with QR codes that will link to these pages as well!
