Meet your Greenhouse Managers!
Clara and Hailey are this year's greenhouse managers. They monitor and oversee daily operations in the greenhouse. They are responsible for watering, planting, and other tasks to ensure the plants are well cared for.
The Marengo FFA Greenhouse Operations program provides students with hands-on experience in planning and managing greenhouse production. Students will have the opportunity to decide what crops to grow while gaining a deeper understanding of the responsibilities involved in running a greenhouse. In the upcoming school year, select students will take on the role of "greenhouse managers," allowing them to develop leadership skills by overseeing daily operations, ensuring that tasks are completed efficiently, and maintaining the overall success of the greenhouse.
