The Marengo FFA Chapter was awarded a $1,000 Grant from the Iowa Corn District 6 to support and enhance our studies in Livestock and Animal Sciences.

Shayla Helgeson of the Marengo FFA Chapter has been selected as an Iowa Delegate for the prestigious World Food Prize Global Youth Institute, taking place this October in Des Moines. She’ll be joining top students from around the globe to tackle critical issues around global food security. The Global Youth Institute is a week-long academic conference where student delegates present their research, engage in roundtable discussions with international experts, and collaborate on solutions for a more sustainable and food-secure world.

Carter Koenig earned the Star Greenhand.
The Star Greenhand Award is an FFA award given to a chapter's most active first-year member. The award recognizes members who demonstrate leadership and have plans for a strong supervised agricultural experience (SAE) program.
Alannah McKibben earned the Star Chapter Award.
The Star Chapter Award is an FFA award given to the top chapter degree recipient in a state. It recognizes students who have had outstanding experiences in agricultural education and FFA.
The Honorary Degree was given to Mrs. Amber Roberts for her support of the FFA and Ag Program.
The Honorary American FFA Degree is an award given by the National FFA Organization to people who have provided outstanding service to the agriculture industry, agricultural education, or FFA.

The Discovery Star Award is given to recognize the most active members in 7th-8th grade. Showing exceptional leadership and involvement in our FFA program.

The Blue and Gold Award was given to Katrina Truempler.
The Blue and Gold reward is an award given to individuals who go above and beyond to help maintain our program. Helping whenever they can to ensure our program continues to be successful.
Carli Kanke and Avery Helmrichs earned the Dekalb Ag Achievement Award.
The DEKALB® Agricultural Accomplishment Award is awarded to FFA students who exemplifies scholarship, commitment, work ethic and passion for pursuing a career in agriculture. These students demonstrate promising young talent and are the rising stars of agriculture. Students must be high school seniors and can be nominated to receive this award by their FFA advisors.
