During the annual Jingle Around the Square celebration, members took the time to volunteer at the Santa Claus supper at the Legion.
Our members also volunteer at concessions at school and during the fair.
At our November FFA meeting, we made birthday cake kits to donate to the Iowa County Food Bank. Because everyone deserves a birthday cake, we’re happy to bring a little extra joy by providing the ingredients for a special celebration.

The Marengo FFA officer team partnered with Blythe Crop Solutions to provide lunches to farmers at the Heartland Co-Op.
The Agriculture 1 classes partnered up with the first grade classes to do a fun pumpkin activity to celebrate Halloween! Through our FFA Buddies program, our freshmen become mentors, and this past week was a wonderful harvest of knowledge and creativity as the little ones learned about pumpkin production in the high school ag room.
The Horticulture class had a pumpkin carving contest for the Trick or Treat with the Tigers! Winners were Aniah Morse and Patrick Johnson.
We helped keep our community beautiful by picking up trash along Highway 6 as part of the Iowa DOT Adopt A Highway Program.
Our members put together a Halloween treat for the high school staff, themed "Lending a Hand". It was a great time of giving back and showing appreciation!
A late summer garden has provided opportunities for students to harvest cucumbers, zucchini, tomatoes and an array of pepper varieties.
Students design and plant the city park planters in the summer with annuals and in the fall, they are planted with mums.
We had a fantastic time at the homecoming parade today with our Marengo FFA float! The theme "Buzzing with School Spirit" came to life with a lineup of adorable agriculture friends.
For 16 years, the FFA Watermelon Feed has been our favorite Marengo FFA tradition. Cheers to our chapter recruitment committee and FFA officers for making it a hit! We hope you enjoyed it just as much as we did!
Our chapter had a fantastic time at the Iowa County Fair last week! We participated in various activities like community service, livestock shows, photography, contest judging, pedal pull, horticulture, and floriculture.
Our students lent a helping hand to the Iowa County Historical Museum with a spruce-up of the grounds. Many hands indeed make light work!
Our FFA officer team hosted an Ag Olympics, bringing agriculture-themed fun and competition to both the high school and elementary school.
All freshman Ag 1 students receive a laying hen to raise in the ag shop for 6 weeks. Student build chicken coops and learn how to care for the pullets.
A local sheep farmer bring in a pregnant ewe that gives birth in the ag shop. Student get to work with the lambs and care for them for about 2 weeks.
FFA officers create Easter Bunny Baskets to give out to children in our community.
FFA Officers enjoyed a Sunday Afternoon at Colonial Lanes where they had friendly competion and bonded through silly challenges provided by their advisor.
Members enjoyed a secret santa gift exchange and bowling to celebrate Christmas.

Our members made valentine's to pass out to the nursing home residents.
Our chapter hosted a Spooks and Smores Night. We toasted smores on a fire and attended a haunted barn.
Our chapter sponsored 4 children from the Love Network Christmas Tree. We purchased gifts and delivered them to the local bank to be dispersed.
