Students visited Fireside Winery to learn about the science and art of growing grapes. They learned how soil structure effects the role in producing healthy grape vines, and how to convert them into wine!

Students visited Van Otegham Dairy and explored what it takes to run a successful dairy operation. They learned about things like herd heath, and daily care.

Students attended the Beef & Swine Feild day at Kirkwood Community College. This day provided them with hands-on experience with animal handling, cattle heath check, and piglet processing.

Students toured the Amana Farms as part of their beef production unit. Students learned how they convert cattle manure into renewable energy for residential homes around the town.
