Northwood Speech & Debate Team is the #1 student-run Speech & Debate program in OC, sending multiple students to the highest levels of debate every year. Our team competes in an array of events, at State and National-level competitions.

We offer a wide variety of debate events (check out the list of events offered the Event Groups page). If you are interested in joining our team, please complete the google form below. Our club meets every Thursday at lunch in room 1303 (Riggan).

If I don't have any experience, can I still join the Speech and Debate Club at NHS? YES!
It's late in high school (I'm a junior or senior)...can I still join Speech and Debate? YES!
I never did that great in my English classes...would Speech and Debate still allow me to join? YES!
I'm interested in Speech and Debate, but English isn't my first language. Can I still join? YES!
I'm not really interested in putting in tons of time, but I'd still like to try Speech and Debate. Can I join? YES!
