The second session in the series builds on our shared commitment to kindness by focusing on empathy, behavior, and community expectations.
Led by Principal Grasso and Assistant Principal Harvey, this session will explore:
Behavioral trends currently being seen on campus
How the school approaches and responds to behavioral challenges
Strategies used to reinforce positive, desired behavior
Ways families can support children in navigating peer conflict with empathy and understanding
This session will include an open forum discussion, offering families the opportunity to engage in meaningful conversation about how we can collectively build a school culture rooted in respect, accountability, and compassion.
Our first session focused on mental health on campus and was led by Cadence Park’s school counselors, Ms. Shiva and Ms. Symes, alongside Principal Grasso.
During this session, families gained insight into how the school views and supports student mental health, including:
Common challenges students are experiencing
The counseling resources and services available on campus
How families can connect with the counseling team
Ways parents and school staff can partner to support student well‑being
The evening also included a thoughtful Q&A, giving families the opportunity to ask questions and engage directly with school leadership in a supportive, open environment.
