I am an undergraduate student at IU Indianapolis. I am majoring in Communication Studies and Medical Humanities and Health Studies, with minors in Community Health and Medical Sociology. I will graduate with a B.A. in both Medical Humanities and Health Studies and Communication Studies in May 2026.
Currently, I work as an ePortfolio Ambassador in the ePortfolio Studio leading multiple projects and supporting both students and faculty with ePortfolios. I previously was an intern in the LHSI Program with the Division for Community and General Pediatrics, creating and managing content across programs and platforms with the IU School of Medicine Pediatrics program. Finally, I have also been working at Meijer for three years.
My interest lie in the realm of public health communication, where I find work through combining communication studies with public health at IU Indy. I am extremely motivated to use what I learn through my foundation of communication coursework to be more effective in my ever-expanding public health and health humanities studies/interests.
My next steps are considering a Masters in Public Health (MPH), specifically a program with a strong social science backing.
My three showcases of work on this ePortfolio is my public health projects, communication studies projects, and my proficiency showcase.
Public health projects includes coursework and experiences relating to my Medical Humanities B.A., medical sociology, and community health classes.
Communication projects aligns with my Communication Studies B.A., and other experiences that align such as my work with the ePortfolio studio.
Proficiency showcase is an area for me to outline my developing expertise in an interdisciplinary fashion.
Please feel very to explore my ePortfolio and learn more about me and my journey! There is quite a bit on my ePortfolio, but I have tried to streamline navigation as much as possible. If you are looking for a specific aspect of my showcase, go to either the coursework or work experience tab and find corresponding information.
