Conclusion

We would first like to emphasize our gratitude to Nine Lives Cat Café for their collaboration and thoughtful feedback as our team navigated this project. Thank you so much! Our team wishes you, your employees, and the cats a wonderful and productive summer. 

As animal cafés have gained popularity worldwide, they've become a fun and engaging part of local tourism. At Nine Lives Cat Café, Fountain Square residents and visitors are able to socialize, shop, share food and drinks, and add a potential new pet to their families. This contributes to the lively spirit of downtown Indianapolis and the unique fingerprint of Marion County. Our local businesses draw Hoosiers from across the state to be refreshed and rejuvenated by togetherness. University students, many of whom are new to the Indianapolis area, are no exception. As students move onto campus, they are looking for opportunities to learn more about life as an Indy local and engage with the community in new ways. Nine Lives Cat Café offers an excellent chance to do just that—explore the city beyond campus for a few hours, try a new drink or pastry, and spend quality time with friends and animals. For this project, our goal was to help connect university students to Nine Lives Cat Café as an opportunity to enjoy Indy and build community here. To do that, we recommend continuing to build a relatable and entertaining social media presence, incorporating coupons or special events geared toward local university students during the week, and considering extended weekday hours. This sparks curiosity about Nine Lives Cat Café and the adorable cats available to visit there—the first step to building strong relationships with new student customers.
