This report details strategies to increase and encourage the likelihood of Indiana University Indianapolis students visiting Nine Lives Cat Cafe. This report includes and is not limited to recommendations on marketing, social media, and adoption.
Our review of the literature suggests that:
A high demand for spending time with animals exists, but several barriers prevent many from adopting animals.
Facilitating an SMS based E-coupon system may better increase word-of-mouth among customers.
The need for social media-based marketing in the modern day is substantial.
Price, location, and accessibility all impact customer satisfaction at businesses such as cafés.
The key findings from our survey elucidate:
The majority of respondents find that hospitality and price are the most important.
The plurality of students would most likely respond to an SMS based coupon system.
The majority would be willing to make the trip to the cat café.
Key Recommendations:
Develop a better social media presence.
Utilize an SMS (preferably) based E-coupon system.
Derive greater accessibility for students during the weekdays.
