About This Project

This project is part of W231, a writing course at IU Indianapolis that integrates professional writing instruction with real-world application and problem solving. Working in teams, students are challenged to support a local business or nonprofit through research, gaining collaboration and interviewing skills along the way. As students learn more about their selected business and the strengths of their fellow teammates, they curate a collection of self-conducted research and future recommendations to send to the business at the close of the semester.

Through this project, we've used writing and critical thinking to engage with our community in a meaningful way. During each milemarker, we've received feedback from our peers and our professor, further refining our work. The website we've developed is a result of these efforts, demonstrating both our learning and our passion for the community that surrounds our campus.
