Balancing a full-time college schedule while working as a part-time warehouse trainer at CEVA Logistics has been a challenging yet enriching experience. My journey has been guided by the principles of personal growth, dedication, and the commitment to fostering an inclusive environment where everyone can succeed—whether they are my academic peers or the new hires I train.
My experiences have taught me resilience and the ability to transform challenges into opportunities for growth. Navigating through difficult situations, with the support of my mentors and peers, has significantly enhanced my capacity to recover and adapt. This resilience has shaped my leadership style, guiding me to empower and support others, helping them overcome their challenges, and inspiring them to achieve their goals.
I have come to realize that my strengths lie in empathy, active listening, self-discipline, and awareness. These traits are essential for building strong relationships, which I believe are the foundation of effective leadership. While I am relationship oriented, I am also determined to achieve organizational goals and complete necessary tasks. My commitment to ethical behavior and inclusivity ensures that I value and incorporate diverse perspectives, creating an environment where everyone feels respected and valued.
My leadership style is a blend of transformational, servant, and authentic leadership. I value the importance of inspiring and motivating others to exceed their own expectations. I strive to be a leader who not only sets high standards but also provides the support and encouragement necessary for others to reach their full potential. I prioritize the needs of my team members, putting their growth and well-being first. This approach fosters a collaborative and supportive environment, where everyone feels empowered to contribute and succeed. My commitment to integrity and staying true to my values is important to my perspective of good leadership. By being genuine and transparent, I build trust and create strong, lasting relationships with my team members.
Intrinsic motivation is the driving force behind my dedication to helping others grow and learn. As a trainer, there is nothing more rewarding than seeing employees develop their skills and achieve success. I firmly believe that with the right support and opportunities, anyone can thrive and reach their goals.

Attending IU Indianapolis Graduation Ceremony 2025!
Getting the chance to visit Paris on my last day of studying abroad!
Keep track of my accomplishments and abilities over the last few years and use that to remind myself next time I doubt my abilities. I will do this by making a list and adding new accomplishments to add to this list. Example: earning Most Outstanding Student to remind myself that I'm capable of handling a lot of things.
After graduating, I want to evaluate my career options. Since I can't immediately quit my current job, during the one year after graduation, I will continue to evaluate my options and start applying to jobs if I see no growth opportunities at my current job.
I want to be more assertive about my need for growth to my current employer. I will check in with leadership each month to see where they are with different growth opportunities.
With more free time after graduation, it's important to prioritize living a healthy lifestyle. I will spend time each weekend finding healthy recipes, going grocery shopping, and meal prepping for the week. I will also spend at least two days per week being active for at least an hour.
