I am a senior at Indiana University – Indianapolis. I’m majoring in Community and Organizational Leadership Studies through O'Neill School of Public and Environmental Affairs. I will be seeking a minor in Human Resource Management. I'm balancing working part-time while studying full time. I am trying to get as much out of college as I can before seeking out my professional career.
What led me to Community and Organizational Leadership Studies?
I studied Business Administration at Ivy Tech Community College and completed my associate’s degree. I went on to major in Community and Organizational Leadership Studies to obtain my bachelor's degree. What made me choose this program instead of further pursing business is the opportunity to develop my interpersonal skills and learn how to motivate and influence people within an organization. Learning leadership theories, employee engagement, and team dynamics is extremely important for an organization to be successful. I plan to soak up as much information to be able to apply it to my professional career and be able to lead a team to success.
