These experiences have helped shaped me into a leader that I am today. My first and most impactful experience was learning how to step out my comfort zone and take advantage of wonderful opportunities that are available to me. My second experience also aided to helping me step out of my comfort zone by being able to speak publicly in front of a large group of people. My third experience has aided to my ability to network and have a better chance of getting the future job I want to go for.
Passport Breakfast Spring 2024
This experience helped me connect with students and staff of Indiana University - Indianapolis and Ivy Tech Community College while giving me practice with public speaking. I was able to share my story of being a transfer student while navigating being a new student at Indiana University - Indianapolis. Being involved in the passport program to transfer to Indiana University - Indianapolis has helped me continue my goals of completing my Bachelor's degree. Now, I'm able to learn necessary skills and information that will help me with my career and improve my abilities of being a leader.

In my capstone at Ivy Tech Community College, I have learned how to write an effective resume. Along with that, I've learned how to build a LinkedIn account and the importance of networking. Below, is the link to my LinkedIn profile.
Since then, I have attended two different resume events to furture improve my resume. One event, a professional from an organization has came to look over my resume and add their suggestions to improve it. The second event was during career week at IUI!
Attending IU Indianapolis Graduation Ceremony 2025
The best part about finishing a degree program is getting to experience graduation! I had the opportunity to attend both ceremonies, the O'Neill School ceremony and the IUI ceremony. It's extremely rewarding to be recognized for my hard work in this program by not only graduating with high distinction, but awarded Most Outstanding Student of the COLS Program. I hope to continue excelling after graduation by using my degree to start my career and continue to work hard in the organization I decide to work for.
