An AT implementation plan aims to "guide teams through a planning process that will ensure proper implementation of students' AT tools" (Dell et al., 2017, p. 308). This plan gathers information about the following:
(a) Names and positions of each member of the implementation team;
(b) Hardware, software, and AT tools that will be used by the student;
(c) Tasks related to hardware, software, and AT tools that must be completed by team members and the person responsible for them;
(d) Training needs, including who needs it, who will provide it, and dates of training;
(e) Classroom implementation: List the IEP goals that the student will meet using the AT tool, and any customized settings that will be needed;
(f) Home implementation: Include the AT tool that will be used at home and the relevant IEP goals; and
(g) Monitoring and evaluation: Document the strategies that will guide the student's use of the AT tool, methods of data collection, and person(s) responsible.Â
