ePortfolio Experience:

I built a course-based ePortfolio and an internship-oriented research ePortfolio.

Worked with Dr. Fodstad through the IU school of medicine as an LHSI intern on a project related to Autistic individuals. The project aimed to provide support for individuals for ASD in emergency department and psychiatric settings.

Worked on a semester long immersion experience of my choosing. I chose to focus on the water pollution in the ocean and different bodies of water around the world. I was able to take part in a local white river clean up as a part of my experience. I also wrote a film review on Disney documentary called "Oceans". Another part of my W131 ePortfolio was a formal retrospective on my ePortfolio building experiences in relationship to the semester-long exploration of pollution in the ocean and waterways.

Part of my W131 ePortfolio was a formal retrospective on my ePortfolio building experiences in relationship to the semester-long exploration of pollution in the ocean and waterways.

Where I am today

The Ocean ePortfolio is a visual representation of the immersion experience I chose for that semester. I focused on water pollution and even got to do some volunteer work related to my topic.
After completing my LHSI ePortfolio, I was able to present it at the internship showcase at IUPUI.
The ePortfolio I created has been a good way to visually showcase all of my progress and achievements throughout my internship.

My thoughts on the panel discussions:

The panel is a great way to bring light to this new form of engaged learning. It is a good way to visualize all your work as well as keep track of it overtime.
