What is the ENGAGE Tool?
The ENGAGE Tool is an informational resource built with AI to document observable, objective patterns during a classroom session, virtual or in person. It looks at things like how directions are communicated, how checks for understanding are used, and how students respond and participate.
Any technology used in connection with this tool is for data collection purposes only and does not constitute real-time supervision or direction of your work. You retain sole discretion over your instructional methods, tools, pacing, and pedagogical approach.
ENGAGE Insights
The ENGAGE Tool captures the frequency and consistency of specific, observable indicators within two domains: Instructional Environment and Student Engagement, based on observable patterns during the lesson.
Once your session has been captured, your insights are organized in your ENGAGE tab in the LMS. Additionally, each day you will receive an email letting you know your latest insights are available, along with where to find them in the LMS.

How to Use Your Insights
Your ENGAGE insights will be organized around two domains, Instructional Environment & Student Engagement. Below is a general overview of each domain. Feel free to click on any indicator to explore additional strategies & resources. For detailed descriptions of each indicator, reference the full ENGAGE rubric.
