Avoid distracting students during sessions (e.g., no eating on camera).

Foster a safe and supportive learning environment, respecting student privacy and boundaries.

Ensure sessions run for their entire assigned duration.

Keep your camera and microphone on during instruction.

Prohibit the exchange of personal contact information with students.

Utilize Fullmind's built-in email messenger for all communication, including sharing work and resources.

Host sessions in a professional, distraction-free environment.

Present yourself in a manner appropriate for a professional K–12 educational setting.

Maintain backdrop, computer background, and surroundings free of distracting elements.

Ensure images and art are appropriate and non-controversial.

Avoid conducting sessions from vehicles.

Remain the sole individual visible on camera. Ensure you are well-lit and visible. 

Silence all other electronic devices and close any unrelated computer tabs.

Prohibit smoking, vaping, eating, or drinking alcoholic beverages during sessions.

Deliver direct instruction with effective modeling and demonstration 

Provide a clear, measurable lesson objective for each session 

Prioritize student engagement and active participation throughout the lesson 

Measure student mastery  by providing an exit ticket

Utilize materials and resources provided by the school district when applicable. 

Create high-quality, standards-aligned instructional materials when necessary.

Design culturally responsive lessons that accommodate diverse student needs, interests, and abilities.

Strive to maintain a balanced student-to-teacher talk ratio of approximately 50:50, incorporating:

• • Frequent checks for understanding

  • Opportunities for student questions

  • Elements of student choice

  • Gradual release of instructional responsibility to students

During independent work, monitor student progress in real time by providing targeted feedback, asking probing questions to extend thinking, and using brief check-ins to assess understanding.

Respond to correspondence within one business day.

Ensure written and oral communication is clear, concise, and accurate.

Maintain professionalism in interactions with parents, students, and Fullmind staff, modeling kindness, courtesy, and prompt service.
