Careers in Transportation: Online Open House for Students

The Transportation Association of Canada (TAC) will be hosting a free virtual open house for students in January. This annual event will feature several public and private sector employers. These employers will share what their companies do and also available job opportunities. These opportunities are specifically for students like you! You will hear about permanent, co-op, summer, and internship job opportunities. You will also learn about different career paths, hiring programs, and tips for applying. ITE Manitoba Kean Lew Memorial Student Presentation Competition

Coming up in 3 months! The Kean Lew Memorial Student Presentation Competition is designed to spark interest in transportation and give students the chance to present a transportation project of their choice to peers and industry professionals.

The competition will feature up to five 15-minute presentations, each followed by a short Q&A, plus time to network with professionals after the event. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three presenters, so start thinking about a project you’d like to research and share...it’s never too early to begin! More details will be sent in the coming months.
