You’ll see how buses are serviced, inspected, and cleaned, visit the operations control centre, and learn about transit planning, scheduling, and future projects. Synchro is a powerful traffic simulation tool often used to analyze traffic flow, delays, and signal performance. There's also a possibility of using it for the civil engineering capstone project! ITE Manitoba Kean Lew Memorial Student Presentation Competition
Although it’s still many months away, we want to give you an early heads-up about this exciting opportunity! The Kean Lew Memorial Student Presentation Competition is designed to spark interest in transportation and give students the chance to present a transportation project of their choice to peers and industry professionals.
The competition will feature up to five 15-minute presentations, each followed by a short Q&A, plus time to network with professionals after the event. Cash prizes will be awarded to the top three presenters, so start thinking about a project you’d like to research and share...it’s never too early to begin! More details will be sent in the coming months.
