Positive Behavior Expectations & Guidelines at ISU

The purpose of the behavior expectations and guidelines outlined is to establish a positive learning environment at ISU for all students. Students must realize that they are responsible to all faculty and staff for their behavior while attending ISU and ISU functions on or off campus.

The ISU Behavior Expectations and Guidelines outlined are introduced and explained to the students by the advisory teacher or homeroom teacher as they start each school year. Every effort shall be made by administrators and faculty members to resolve conflicts with the student and his/her parent or guardian. Behavior expectations shall be reasonable and fair. The ISU faculty and staff strive to make decisions that will result in positive student growth in alignment with our behavior expectations.
