You will:

• Interacting with kids on a day-to-day basis

• Realizing the importance of helping kids with fewer opportunities

• Getting to know kids and their lifestyles

• Observing and experiencing the excitement of kids during various activities

• Learning about child development and planning interactions with kids

• Adapting plans and interactions to suit the needs of the kids

• Understanding how kids from SPECS think, act, and their values and interests

• Working closely with the kids and learning to be patient, understanding, and having fun with them.
